I was fascinated by the roots of the tree in the middle, at how they lay bare and yet continues to nourish the tree that is seen at the top of the gorge. Roots can mean different things from origin, family of origin, tribe, generation, lineage, foundation, human origin, our origin, reconnecting with one’s roots, reconnecting with who we are….
I love nature, water, trees and mountains I feel at home, grounded, rooted and one with the Earth and the Universe when I am in nature. A full day hike on my birthday was what I needed to reconnect with Source and feel grounded.
A lot of roots related information started emerging around me since the hike, below is a card reading that landed in my inbox about a week later from Colette Baron-Reid “Roots of Abundance” which I resonated with “This card signals you to pay attention to how you are anchored in the story of your life. Trust that you will be taken care of. The world is full of limitless potential and will nourish you, according to your beliefs, regardless of temporary outer conditions. You are not a victim of your life. Life happens for you — not to you, even if you sometimes slip into that way of thinking. If you are grounded and internally steadfast, nothing can uproot you, and you have the ability to manifest your intentions with ease.”
It’s a reminder that God, Source always has my back/your back. It is a reminder of the infinite abundance, breath being one of them. One never thinks of when the next breath will come, we just trust that it will come, and it does. I have learned over the years that life happens for me and it gives me the ability to choose how to respond and create the life I desire, one step at a time.
A lot has been unfolding around my roots since then and I can’t help but beam with joy, so much understanding, restoration and liberation in embracing it all.
